Cranberry salad recipes are used mainly around the holidays in a traditional way, but theses delicious salads can be enjoyed year round with any meal. For those of you who love the sweet/sour taste of cranberries, here is a couple of nice and easy cranberry salad recipes I am sure you will love adorning your dinner table.

Cranberry Salad

20 ounce of drained crushed pineapple
24 0unces of fresh cranberries
cup of pecans
pint of whipping cream
cup of sugar
8 ounces of small marshmallows

First chop the cranberries, put in a large bowl and mix in the sugar. Then refrigerate for 10 – 12 hours. When the cranberries are ready whip the cream until in is stiff and add the nuts, pineapple, marshmallows and cranberries to bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.

As you can see cranberry salad recipes are easy to make and only take a few ingredients. Here is another one a little different you may enjoy trying.

Cranberry Salad – 2

2 cups of hot water
8 ounces of cream cheese
2 cups of whipping cream
½ - ¾ cup of pecans and/or walnuts
6 ounce package of cherry or strawberry gelatin
can of cranberry sauce
can of jellied cranberry sauce

Dissolve your gelatin in water and add the cranberry sauces. Pour them into a pan that has been slightly greased and chill until firm. After blending together the nut, whipped cream and soften cream cheese refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
